Twitter this afternoon launched a new Twitter Bird. It’s a streamlined, simpler bird, which feels a lot more dynamic. But the key thing to note is that this now completely replaces their previous logo. Just the simple Twitter bird, rather than any other word mark or ‘t’. They follow the likes of Nike and more recently Starbucks by relying on an icon to represent their brand. Is is too soon for the relatively new company? Personally I love the new little bird.
