I visited the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition at Somerset House this week, and it’s truly a great show.
There’s a fantastic selection of journalism, portraiture conceptual and youth photography. I’ve featured some of my favourites above, with the stand out collection of shots by Andrea Gjestvang. Andrea has photographed survivors of the Utoeya, Norway July 2011 massacre, under the title “One day in history”. Other favourites include Valerio Bispuri’s shots from South America, and Fabrice Fouillet’s modern churchs. Read more about the winners.
Well worth a trip while it’s still on. Visit the exhibition at Somerset House.
