At the weekend I went to Jamie Oliver’s Recipease in Brighton for a chocolate making class for a mate’s birthday. It was a great fun and I made some lovely chocolate too, even if my truffles looked like a Chihuahuas’ leftovers. But what struck me was how great the branding for the whole experience was.
I’ve always been uber-impressed by Jamie’s marketing and branding in general. But the branding for Recipease was created by Williams Murray Hamm and won some awards in the process. All based around a set of pieces that you can ‘pop out’, it’s been geniously executed with even the aprons and boxes of food adorning the same visual language. My particular favourite is the sign featuring a chicken.
